In my previous blog I discussed our tour guide's complaint that most people visiting plantations just want to see the big houses, not understand the lives of the many enslaved who made them work. Well, after taking "Slavery to Freedom" tour we saw the big house. The guide literally took us past it, so we couldn't not see it.
